Anyone knows a good MicrosdCard with 64GB. I know there a ultra and extreme for sandisk does it make any difference witch one you choose for the gateway

Ultra and extreme are just the read/write speeds. Those are more meant for high quality video and such.
You don't need anything extreme, it just changes the loading screen times.

makes very little difference tbh, anything above class 4 should be fine, i doubt you would even notice the difference between class 4 and class 10.....might load up a split second faster,

only real world benefit would be copying games to it faster

Is it possible if I use the Smash 3DS Wii U feature (where I can connect to it) that it will update itself (Spot Pass disabled?)

Also If I enable Street Pass, will anything happen to my firmware of some sorts?

...it will be a software exploit, not a hardware exploit.....lets face it if anything i would imagine the N3DS would of had less features, as they already have over a year of experience working with the original 3DS hardware......but really the hardware differences are minimal, i doubt it would cause any issues at all

EDIT, actually, thinking about it iirc the new3ds has a 4GB nand.....this might be why there is no news on emunand yet as they are still figuring how to go about redirecting a 4GB nand.....like would they need to make a 4GB emunand partition for new3DS's, or cold they just keep it at 1GB and disregard the extra 3GB in the system....idk, but i imagine that might be the reason for delays as thats the only real significant difference on the new3ds that i imagine would need extra attention

I highly doubt that. N3DS seems like it will actually use 4GB and therefore emuNAND will have to be 4GB.
Also I think the 3DS used 2 different NAND chips with slightly different sizes, but both are 1GB.

N3DS also have extra enc on ARM9 kernel, though I doubt that matters.

Loading times are shorter and copying games to it are faster. I'm sold. :P

The price on micro sd cards that vary in class is so tiny you may aswell go for a class 10 and most have a lifetime warranty.

Theoretically, yes. :) .

Man. I'm torn between a 16GB and 32GB. Prices rise up by a lot from 16GB onwards on my stores.

Anyone got any kind of info on Micro SD's like PNY and .. Etc?

Personally I'll just put a 1GB card with DEVMENU in GW.
And install CIAs to my 32GB SD.

I'm liking this idea. Of course, you can always convert devmenu in .cia format, install the .cia to the 3DS using devmenu on GW, and then you don't have to worry about using GW anymore since devmenu is installed. :P

That's quite the norm. Anything above 16GB is just much higher. You'll have to do some good shopping around.

.CIAs to me seem like a hassle. Plus, Gateway can support SDXC while the 3DS cannot, limiting you at 32GB.
Sure, you can format it to FAT32, but still, it seems unreliable because it deletes the Protected area.

eBay can be a good place if you are careful.

I'll have a look around :x , got to make good choices. I only have one micro sd. :(

I'd like to have two. One for eShop and another for Backups.

I'll keep my SD free for music/videos until I get some EmuNAD confirmation ^_^.

There is just a shit load of fakes on eBay though, even if someone has good feedback it could all be from customers who don't know any better.
Try and stick to a local store if you can.
