Well nothing to envy, since we won't know whether this update will come later today/tomorrow before I receive my console.. Pray hard that Nintendo testing department are slow.. XD

Same problem here.. I think that nintendo will release the firmware before we get the console, I read online that sometimes they take up to a week of "preparation in progress" before shipping.

Don't worry, how can Ninty patch an exploit while it hasnt been public ?

The website showing 9.3 is for the T version, not J. So nobody knows either if it is even related (their 9.3 could be rest's 9.2) or how long before there will be a 9.3 for J/E.

I believe everyone jumps up and down when they hear of updates. As far as I remember updates don't self install when pushed. You have to accept it.

Keep your wifi off if you're really worried.

The reason people are worried is that they're importing JP consoles, but JP consoles come with 8.x, so they need to update before 9.3 is released.

Yeah, au n3ds come with 9.0. But who would want one in English when you could have one in Japanese!?

Really though, if I was to order now I wouldn't risk getting a JP one. There may never be a way to update to the exploitable firmware once a newer update is released.
