Okay...I am trying to determine how to get burned GCN games (backups) to play through USB Loader GX. Nearest I can tell is that the loader is able to do so, any DVD drive can at least burn them, and pretty much any ISO burner will do the trick.
My concern is that I currently have DM(L) on there as the MIOS, and to run burned backups, I apparently need a different kind of cMIOS(?). Would I be able to use a WAD installer to "swap between" the needed cMIOS and DM(L)? Regardless of what methods I need to use, what is a good cMIOS (as I'm sure I will need one no matter what)?

If I have anything wrong here, please point it out. Last thing I want to do is frag my Wii's GameCube compatability :P . Any help is appreciated.

Can I ask why do you want to use burned discs? Loading them off of a usb or sd card is so much better

Star Fox Adventures. My retail disc is starting to show it's age despite my efforts, and it doesn't play properly from USB/SD backup. Plus I need a disc in the drive for a couple other titles to run, so I figured I'd just make a backup of the only one that doesn't work like the others. That way I can just keep it with my Wii, and it won't matter much if the burned backup gets scratched/damaged because I can make more.

If you own the disc then you should verify it with Devolution and just load it from a usb drive. Devo has near-perfect compatibility

Or if you don't want to deal with the disc verification then you can load the iso with Nintendont. Only issue it has is delayed subtitles for that game

DIOS MIOS is getting outdated now anyway

You could always try another option, nintendont. It seems to run Star Fox Adventures well except some delayed subtitles and you can also check out the compatibility for other games to (http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Nintendont_Compatibility_List).

I can deal with delayed subtitles so long as the audio actually freakin' works :P . I haven't gone to Nintendont because DIOS MIOS has worked for me on all things besides this, but maybe it's time to overhaul my GCN loading capabilities...
Any links to a good tut for installing Nintendont in place of DM(L)?

The audio will work no problem.

Nintendont doesn't install into the MIOS slot. You can have both.

Just check how to install on the Nintendont thread (first link in my signature)

You should read over the entire Nintendont thread. The amount of stuff it supports is amazing

Cool, I'll definitely read over it. Would I experience more or less compatability with DM(L) and Nintendont installed in tandem? I have noticed that USB Loader GX has options for users who do.

They don't effect each other at all.

You can have DIOS MIOS, Nintendont, and Devolution all at the same time if you want.

So, they basically make up for each other's shortcomings? For example, if I had them installed in tandem, would I still get the laggy audio on Adventures?
They don't affect each other at all. DIOS MIOS will still have it's audio streaming issues.

There's no reason in my opinion to use DIOS MIOS now that Nintendont has passed it in compatibility and features(about 90-95% of games work with Nintendont).

Devolution has 99% compatibility but you MUST verify EVERY game disc before it will load the game from a usb drive. It's a lot of work and not recommended since Nintendont can do everything it can do (except play PSO online).
