Has anyone figured out how to do this yet?

It would be super cool if I could. Basically, going from the installed eShop version to a retail version.

I'm using Pokémon AlphaSapphire as a test, since it's a CARD2 game and therefore I can run my 3DS in Gateway mode and the save will work.

I was able to use Save Data Transfer (the official eShop tool, not a hacked/pirated one) to go from the Gateway ROM to the installed .cia which I had converted using the toolpack released on here.

But it appears when I try to back the data up from the CIA version, it only lets me restore to the CIA version. Is there something I'd have to do (like, editing what title it belongs to) to allow me to restore that data to the card? I can go card -> file -> card and CIA -> file -> CIA but I can't seem to go CIA -> card. Card -> CIA can obviously be done using the Nintendo tool as I mentioned.

I have issues with the using it for .cia.

my solution is to stop playing as .cia

found no other solution.

Yeah you can freely move savedata between an eshop game and a card2 game in the red cart without any problem.
Just read the instructions on the top screen. L+A imports the data into to the cart. R+A imports into the SD card (for an eshop game)

Ah, somehow I missed the L+A command. That worked great, thanks.
