Hacking MT-Card: ORAS?

Is it possible to play ORAS using the MT-Card? I just updated to software 2.2 but the ROMs I have just hang on the 3DS Loading screen. Do I need to do something special? Or do they just not work on the MT-Card?

Also, I read people are using 3DZ roms, what's that? Is it different form .3DS?

Yes, Emunand 9.2 (if you not use emunand, ORAS, Smash, etc... not works)

Awesome, thanks! I've never used emunand. I just went into the menu and started formatting nand. And then I just need to update right? Do I need to format and update every time I want to play?

When you stay on emunand, update it (to 9 or 9.2), only one update needed.

Thanks a lot for all the help man! One final question: I just finished formatting and pressed MT-Card mode, but the bottom screen just blanked out. Do I need to wait or did it just freeze?

EDIT: It just froze.
