You should point out that you mean encrypted to work with the GW ROP loader, and you're not actually including GW files. Some people may misinterpret your post if you don't.

It's Riku cfw Launcher.dat, Gateway ROP compatible. It's useful if you're 2 sd card, one with gateway emunand and one with the cfw, ye ou don't have to execute the rop multiloader every time.

Is that the step when you buy the demo? You dont have to do that anymore as we created the 2 dbs on the sd card

No, I mean format emunand to create the partition where you inject your nand.

The scene release was a european dump, and apparently that causes issues with the icon appearing on an american (and possibly japanese) 3DS

Yeah. The banner doesn't work properly for some reason, but it still runs.

so reading this so far, hearing about 2 SD cards, would this mean if i use a different SD card away from the one I use on my 3DS XL , I could use this CFW only on one and then after being done with it, i could use my regular SD card on the 3DS as if it wasnt hacked at all? like dual boot kind of thing? Because so far the only homebrew I want to use is the play coin setter.

You can use the play coin setter on gateway iirc. 3dsguy released a rom of it a while back.

I'm not sure why this is not working for me. I've tried to start the original cfw about 35 times with no luck. Now I'm trying palantine's version and I still get only a blue and white or blue and black screen.
