Piracy aside, can't you just buy the DSi version on a DSi and then do a system transfer to your 3DS?

I got a copy of Cave Story (DSiWare) on my 3DS that way. And I also have the 3DSware version too right next to it

System-Transfer only works with a few select games. One of the games it doesn't allow happens to be Flipnote Studio.

Ah, that's interesting. It worked for Cave Story which is another DSiWare title not sold on the 3DS eShop (since there is also a native 3DS version of the game)

plus that would kind of depend on you owning a DSi too.....and personally i dont think i know anyone who owns a DSi

I've had うごくメモ帳3D(Flipnote Studios 3D) on my 3DS since I got it, lol.. If I knew how to rip it, i would, but probably nothing i can do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, even as anyone here get a rom dump, .3ds CAN NOT BE A DSI TITLE
Only CIA can be a DSi Title

You will need to find a way to install .cia if you want DSi ware games, that is the reason as there isn't a DSi . 3ds dump

Is there a way to encrypt dsiware to .cia? It would be possible to install with devmenu but as we know there is no public-known way to install it.

Maybe better wait for dump of 3DS version.. Seems more.. Real.

If it's a properly set up .cia, the dev menu could easily do it. It would only run on your sys-nand, though.

Maybe better wait for dump of 3DS version.. Seems more.. Real.

This sounds like a better plan, though. Not sure why it hasn't been released to the wild yet...

Emmm guys...I know wich Flipnote Hatena exist a particolar rom (only jap) called ugomemo chou viewer wich was released..the problem is found the rom...
i haven t found anything...is strange but is so!

hopefully when the 3DS gets custom firmware sideloading the JAP eShop will be the only way.I do believe they are holding out on a flashcart killing update,or they just forgot about NA.

Wasn't the 3DS specific version released in Japan?
