The idea was originally from Powersaves (or CyberGadget).

I'm almost sure both have predefined cheats (and Powersaves only allows you to use the cheats they decide to make available).

That is basically what the Empty Card is trying to do, the difference is that it is done in YOUR 3DS instead of THEIRS (Datel's, for example)
