Hacking Just Softmodded my Wii Need Help

Okay, so I have 2 wii's. My older wii had problems running Diosmios from HDD. After doing everything I possibly could, I couldn't get it to run. I bought a used wii and just installed HBC, Bootmii, and Priloader 0.7. Now I want to have the best Cios and compatible apps so I can have the ability to run GC games and Wii games off my HD. I didn't want to start that process until someone could help me out. Any other advice would be great too.

Thanks! I am still having issues with running Gamecube Iso's showing up on CFG loader. I have 2 on my SD Card and one shows all my games while another shows some. What would be the best cFG loader version to use. Also, can anyone suggest a HD from amazon that is confirmed to work with amazon. I have tried some from the list but they haven't worked. I would rather get it straight from someone that can confirm that a specific HD will work.

Grab the lastest CFG or USB Loader Gx on the links at my signature. Remember that your drive must be formatted as fat32 with 32kb clusters, set to active and primary. Use easeus partition manager to do that. To run Gamecube games, use Nintendont - link at my signature.

Figured you weren't using Dios Mios. Does Nintendon't have similar or better compatibility with HD than Dios Mios? Also, will Nintendon't affect compatibility with WIi games? Sorry for the noobie quesitons.

No problem we all are learning. Check both compatibilities list and compare them... Ah, dios mios is only for original Wii - Nintendont works on wii and Wii u.

SO do I need to install the U-stealth one or not for wii support? Also how do I get Memory card support with a normal MC and with the "emulation one"


Also, can someone provide me a link for a good forwarder. I downloaded one that is broken.


Also I noticed that when i download Covers, the programs freeze halfway through.

1 - You don't need U-stealth for original Wii - just wii u nags about formatting the USB drive/stick every time.
2 - Nintendont (gamecube loader) does not support phisical memory cards yet. You will either have to use an emulated memory card or Dios Mios.
3 - To enable memory card emulation depends on the loader that you are using, but it generally uses the same logic.
3.1 Click on the game you want to launch, there will be a button called "game settings" there you can enable memory card emulation
4- About Downloading covers and the freeze, maybe it's your drive fault. Test with another one to be sure.
