I seriously don't know how or why, but for some weird reason... i'm never able to resume my progress on Pokemon X with each new version of Gateway that came out (since OMEGA 2,2), as it just corrupts the data on the SD Card and i have to start over. :/

Although, i don't seem to have this problem with any of my other games and they work perfectly fine. :S

So, just to kindly ask... can anyone actually confirm that this is happening for yourselves as well, other than just myself?

Thanks.

How are you playing it? Cart, eShop version or a ROM? Also, how are you booting it? emuNAND, Classic mode, etc.?

same asked before on the 2.3b topic and didn't get the clear answer,
the problem happens on 3dz format no matter what the header is,while 3DS plays ok (and dont need that)

do you have your rom trimmed? if so thats your problem....dont trim card 2 games like animal crossing and pokemon

trimmed well give you the error and reset the system immediately so this isnt the issue
on 2.3b untrimmed game works but tells the save data is corrupted (for me when i try
to press up.b.x the game crash both X or Y)

sounds like you have a bad rom dump....but for the record trimmed will "work" but if you put anything else on the micro SD you will probably over write the save.....also the save is just wrote to the same offset as it should be if it wasnt trimmed so you would also be potentially overwriting data from another rom too

i'm using a rom which i personally downloaded and patched using the header from a copy of Luigi's Mansion 2 (which i used to own, in order to update my 3DS to v4.5 for use with Gateway 3DS).

I'm using the rom within Gateway Mode on a emuNAND with the latest 3DS firmware update installed.

it was already beyond the point of no return anyway, as i accidentally started a new game (i didn't save though). Although, it only happened because i recently upgraded and changed My Micro SD for My GW Red Card and SD Card for the actual 3DS to use with emuNAND, game saving and dumps. Also, i recently upgraded to the latest version of Gateway from the leaked beta and before that, v2.2 Omega (both of which had worked before, as far as i know).

i originally lost my save data before, when i patched the Rom Header with one from a copy of Luigi's Mansion 2 (that i had originally, to upgrade my 3DS with) and changed the file extension from .3ds to .3dz, in order to go online (it didn't bother me, as i didn't get that far in-game anyway). it was expected to happen anyway, as most people already know...

it just makes me laugh though... how when i upgraded and changed everything, that all my save data for all my games, apart from PKMN X... had it's save data affected in some way or another... :/

well... that's my two cents (or pence, if you will) on the matter.
