I've been looking all over the net for an answer to this...

as i understand it, you can use the new connection by patching game via tangible disks. I have all my games on flash drive. Does anyone know if there any way to patch or connect these games using ISO files from USB loader?

Wiimmfi private server require edition of the ISO, not the real disc.

There are two method to patch the games:
- Official wiimmfi patcher (it correctly patch all the files inside the ISO to replace "nintendowifi.net" with "wiimmfi.de"). You need the ISO and run the patcher on your computer to modify the ISO.
- On the fly, USBLoader internal patcher. USBloaderGX is doing it if you enable the option "private server: Wiimmfi.de". Your ISO is not modified, it's patching the game in memory. Not all files are patched but it works for most games.

thanks for the reply! So to do this would I just put the wiimmfi on mySDcard (so it appears in the homebrew channel) and then go to the USBloader options and enable the option for private server: Wiimmfi.de?

There's nothing to put on your SD card. Wiimmfi is not a file or a homebrew, it's a server name.
it's only an option you will find in USBLoaderGX.

If you don't use this loader, you will have to patch the games on your computer to replace the nintendo server's URL definitely.

oh I didn't know that. There was a tutorial I was watching that I thought said something about adding files to my SDcard to make this work.

I'm sorry if this question is a "dumb question", but I'm looking around the USBloaderGX options and don't see the one you are referring to. Where would I find where I can change the server? When I google search for "USBloaderGX" and "private server: Wiimmfi.de", this thread is literally all that comes up. Is there anyway you could please give me a step by step on this? I go into the "loader settings" in USBloaderGX and I have NO clue what to change in there; I don't have a server setting toggle in there at all. I'm lost... :/

Thanks in advance for your patience and help

First, you have to update the loader because it's a new feature.
You have to extract the file in my signature (r1231 or newer), you will find a folder IOS249 and 3 files inside.
Put the 3 files in your SD:/apps/usbloader_gx/ folder

Then, in the loader you have two choices:
- enable the patch globaly, it will patch ALL games (even the one not using network, and even the one STILL working online, not using nintendo's servers). I don't recommend it, but :
Settings > Loader Settings > Private server : Wiimmfi.de

- enable the patch per game, it will patch only the game you want.
Select the game > Preferences > Game settings > Private server : Wiimmfi.de

The other option "SSL Only" is for AltWFC private server, it replace only the protocol (https -> http), and you have to edit the DNS settings in your Wii network settings.

ok so I opened the IOS249 and put their were 4 things there so I figured that you only wanted me to add the boot.dol, boot.elf, and icon... I assumed I should remove the META since you said things 3. I went to the loader, updated (the only update available)... after extracting it it, the screen froze, but the sound continued. After a few minutes, I hard reset the console and when I tried to start the usbloadergx up again, I got this

:/

Was I supposed to leave ALL 4 of the files in that folder?
