Could someone test pokebank with Pokemon x Rom?

I answered this a page or 2 back. Question of my own. I have a friend at work, and I was trying to transfer stuff to her, but Pokemon Bank isn't recognizing her Pokemon Y cart in classic mode. Is that due to save encryption on the official cart?

If she hasn't been playing the cart in gw classic mode then yes.

Yup, you'll need to back up the SD contents as well though.

Alright I'm gaving trouble with booting tomodachi after having played and then saved and quit the correct way. Now its giving me an error trying to open the game. I updated emunand with no trouble and ran the game so this makes me think its a savegame issue?

edit: pokemon seems to not recognize its save either... errrm any ideas?
edit1:actually it could be that i trimmed the rom.. trying an untrimmed version

Bad rom download? Try another source? (No we won't link you here ;D )

nope everything worked at one point so it can't be that.. I think there is some sort of save incompatibility with the new update.. I think it saved over my pokemon game (cry) and tomodachi just gets the error... ugh frustrating

K, so I got a hold of the beta, (thank god, I couldn't wait another day, Kappa/Gbatemp equivalent)

Now, honestly, there haven't been many game releases since launch of 7.1 encryption, so what (good) games use the new encryption that are worth trying out?

I have no interest in it, but T.Life was said to be hyped for. Also Smash 3DS comes out on the 13th of September, so I'm sure that'll work. For now, that seems to be it, unless you're in it for the Pokemaaans bank.

Considering the Bank is a yearly sub based app, I assumed it wouldn't work to just download it
If it works though, fuck it, Ill take a look at it.

If you trim the rom after creating a save, it will get permanently deleted. Try to start all over again with an untrimmed rom and don't trim it again.
