Hacking 3DS Hardware RAM Dumper

As the title says, I'm looking to dump/modify the RAM in real time. Is this possible right now? I'd be interested in modifying parts of the RAM while the system is running. I know it's been done, but I can't find anything about it, other that people saying they've done it.

Would be swell if someone would let me know

neimod had a 3DS ram dumper wired up. He had pics on his photobucket, but he seems to have disappeared and removed said photos. It has been done, but you'll probably have to start mostly from scratch.

Do you happen to know if the RAM is encrypted during run time?

I am pretty sure the ram is not encrypted. Smealum was able to dymp and edit the ram to leak diancie and co.
