Hacking Manually fixing HBC 4:3 issue

Hello.

I was thinking of trying to take my vWii NAND backup and load it in ShowMiiWads to rip the Homebrew Channel app, change the TitleID, and reinstall the wad so the channel loads in 16:9.

Will there be any problems that I should look out for? Will this create any problems (such as returning to HBC from various homebrew apps)?

hey, their is a 16:9 loader no config needed, just install the wad and done

I don't want to use a forwarder. I'd rather just use the original Homebrew Channel.

ok haha their shouldn't be any problems with showmiiwads just change the aspect ratio for the wad file you rip and reinstall
