I'm trying to make a dump of bravely default so I can name it to .3dz but can't seem to figure out how to get it into one file. My SD Card was formatted to Fat32, and so GW split it to two files , 3d0 and 3d1. I tried to format my SD card to ExFat only to figure out that it's not supported by the 3ds... So how do I get a gateway dump of Bravely Default in one file to be able to connect online?

You dont dump it in one file because you cant. You can use a tool like hjsplit to join the files. Also you may just be able to rename both files to 3dz and it might work. Hjsplit or tools like it though will merge the files if you want to just have one file

I don't think you'll be able to go online with it until the new firmware is released, I could be wrong though. I know my other games arent working online.

I don't know, I had no problem connecting online with Pokemon X or Y, but the game dumps are my original carts.

From what ive read online we have to wait until gateway releases it's new firmware to support the latest update in order to get online access including eshop. Even if you have original game dumps, Nintendo still forces you to update in order to use certain features. I also know for pokemon in particular there is an update you need for online to work (ver 1.2 or something) im not sure though cuz I dont play it.

SaggyBeans is wrong on that point. You can go online even if you are not running the latest firmware on emuNAND. The thing that will stop you from going online are things like patches which cannot be currently downloaded from the eShop due to firmware 8 being completely incompatible. If you already have those patches, then you are good to go usually.

On a separate note though, it has been found that Pokemon isn't able to trade successfully even if patches are installed unless your enuNAND is update to 6.x if I recall. Don't know why that is, but it has been pointed out from time to time.

Edit: I don't recall there being patches to Bravely Default, but I haven't played it in some time. They could have rolled out an update that I'm unaware of.

Well my mario kart 7 seems to work but i tried need for speed and I get an error 002-0123 "You cannot use online services with this game card." I researched the error and it says I am not close to my access point which is not true since mario kart 7 works. I assumed this was because of the new firmware updates. This doesnt seem like the only game that isnt working online for me... has anyone had this type of error?

That was the message that was given anytime you tried to go online before Gateway rolled out Omega and allowed for online play. If you are using a ROM that was downloaded and not dumped personally, you most likely have an invalid header (that is assuming that you even have a header patched onto it at this time.)
