People just need a little simple instruction and maybe visual example, I.E. a commercial showing a person buying a standard external drive at any random store, bringing it home, plugging it into their Wii U, and saying YES when it asks if you'd like to format. :)

If soccer moms and their children can figure out the XBOX 360 hard drive, then they can figure out a USB one, if they've not already with their TV or Roku (spelling?).

for pre-order on Amazon with a release date of December 31st (scheduled to change)

:lol: - Love it when they put stuff like that up! This one's probably the best: Dec 31st? WTF, a far better idea would've been to put up;

'Release Date: Fuck knows....2016!?'

Would've given a bit better insight to be honest, little Johnny's nanna is probably writing a letter to Nintendo telling them that's a week after Christmas/no use/they should all rot in hell as we speak.....

First they'd have to release a system that can hold more than one game on its internal storage. :tpi:

I kid, I kid. Quite happy to see the Wii U getting a relevant title for once, I hope it'll be a good one.

Get your head out of your ass the Wii U is full of relevant titles. So sick of this nonsense.

Mario Kart 8 was $48 a week after it released.

That was a sale that doesn't count, Subtle is right MK8 will stay at $60 probably the whole lifetime of the Wii U

None that are relevant to me aside from maybe Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate which I have on the 3DS anyways. :)

There's like a zillion brands of hard drives that come in various flavours - USB 2.0, USB 3.0, FireWire, recently also Thunderbolt, there's 3.5", there's 2.5", there's flash storage, there's HDD, there's SSD - a soccer mom won't deal with this not because it's something that she won't understand when she sits down and thinks about it, a soccer mom won't deal with this because there's too many options and the sheer fear of buying the wrong peripheral and the confusion during the process is discouraging - ask anyone who deals with IT support and they'll tell you what kind of "silly" questions they deal with on a daily basis.

That, and you can get PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 hard drives in a games store, exactly where you got the system from - for the Wii U you have to make the extra trip to a larger electronics outlet or a computer store.

The Xbox 360 drive was plain and simple - pop it onto the system and you're done, XBox logo on the box = it's definitely going to work, even the most technologically-illiterate person can work that out. Same with the PS3 drives, except you also had the option of going to an electronics store if you had the know-how.

Then again, I digress - this is about the new Zelda game, so we might as well return to the topic at hand. :P

The game will still be $60 10 years from now so you be waiting a while :tpi:

Even GBA Pokemon games go for extortionist prices on eBay, for some bizarre reason Nintendo content just never seems to lose much value.

I saw the trailer and info for Zelda 2015 but that didn't sold me yet, I liked its cartoony look and the huge amount of space to explore, plus liberty to do the missions how I like 'em but there's something missing from making me want to pre-order.

Anyway, when I pre-order games it's usually from Zavvi/TheHut as I can use 10% discounts on them.
