I have my vWII mode hacked since 4.0 without issues, but since I updated to 5.0 I can't play backups anymore.

After I load a game on wiiflow on both SD and USB, the wii remote loses sync and a black screen of death appears.

Homebrew, VC channels and Official games are working fine btw.

- I have 259 ios56/250 ios 57 and 251/ ios 58
- Tested both v52 and v53
- Tried to reinstall all of them without luck

Syscheck hangs when it tests IOS 249, 250 and 251

Any thoughts?

EDIT: Installed IOS 56 v52 on 252 slot, same thing happened.

Double-checked it, and I used Truth's guide d2x installer, which only gives option to install v52/v53 for vWii.

Post a SysCheck using the guide in my signature. Hopefully SysCheck HDE won't fail.

I was using your version, JoostinOnline. Anyway, issue resolved. Removed cIOS 249, 250, 251 and 252 using AnyTitle Deleter and reinstalled them.

Same issue here, please help!

EDIT:

I uninstalled cIOS 249,250 and 251 (had no 252, is this normal? Also, AnyTitle Deleter warned me about a fake signature in slot 236, is this also normal?!) just like Yuan did, I will try to boot some games in a few minutes and let you know if it worked for me too!

I installed an IOS on slot 252 just to test. If you followed Truth's guide it is normal to have only 249, 250 and 251

The IOS 236 warning is normal, btw.

Please let us know if worked for you too :)

I will test a game once my really slow flash drive is done with the writing. Since we're here and you seem to know A LOT more than I do about vWii... Before coming in here and doing all the things you did, my Xenoblade Chronicles backup didn't work on my modded vWii, I was able to get to the "attach the strip" warning page but then the wiimote de-synced and won't sync again, seconds after the screen would turn black and won't move at all. Any clue why this happened?

Before the last update I also remember I was having the same issue with a different flash drive but I'm also pretty sure I fixed it as I then played Xenoblade Chronicles on my vWii via CFG70. After the update, using a different flash drive it stopped working, though. Could it be related to the file system I'm using? (Currently FAT32, but also tried exFAT, NTFS and WBFS) If so, is there any particular setting I should care about? Could it be that this flash drive just plainly sucks (it's really slow also)? Thanks for any reply :)

Sorry, but I don't know either. I use my flash drive formatted at FAT32 too.

On 5.0 also, black screen with backup loaders... AnyTitle Deleter is giving me error messages and doesnt seem to remove cIOS 249,250 and 251. Help would be mucho appreciated!

Well, bad news. I only tested using SD card. Tested now using a flash card and didn't work.

Unfortunately still having the same issue. I was able to load one wii title after removing and reinstalling the cIOS 249,250 and 251, but not since. Any ideas on what the culprit is?
