So im new here. Just made this account for help bc i cant find my answer anywhere at all.
So here it goes.. My problem is when i download a torrent its ISO or WBFS format. I used WBFS manager and even Wii backup manager but Wii backup manager doesnt recognize my USB. So i downloaded Wii Sports Resort since its a small file to fit on my USB which is 1GB. I put the game on my USB nd load up USB Loader nd i get all excited that the game is there but when i click the disk my screen goes black for awhile then reboots my wii bck to the home screen:cry: . I tried everything i can nd i think its just the file im using or something bc when i tried it the first time i put my Mario game in nd it burned it onto my USB but i wanted to use torrent games . Also on Custom IOS Installer i did the following..

Select IOS version to use during Installation: IOS236
Select base IOS version: IOS56 v5661
Select Custom IOS installation slot: IOS249

Select IOS version to use during Installation: IOS249
Select base IOS version: IOS38 v4123
Select Custom IOS installation slot:IOS250

What is your pen drive formatted to? FAT32? WBFS? NTFS?

doubt many people will help you with pirating downloaded games

If you read what he wrote, he isn't asking on how to download games, also this community is more of a pirating/homebrew community than everything.

'she' if the profile is true ... and yes i understand the dilemma , just stating that here if you post your pirating games your less likely to get help then if you copied one of your games with cleanrip and are having trouble loading it

No one around here cares if you do or do not download games because most of the people around here do it, and I've seen people help each other without asking if that person does or does not pirate.

we dont see a bunch of people jumping in to help now do we, ... but all im saying is ...she would get more (useful) help by leaving out the piracy part

We do not condone piracy in any way.

which Custom IOS Installer version did you use?
it seems pretty old. you probably followed an old guide or found random informations.

you need to use this cIOS installer:
d2x cIOS installer for Wii (Do not use on WiiU!)

you need to install this:

d2x v10 (beta52 or beta53)
slot: 249
base: 56

version 21010

d2x v10 (beta52 or beta53)
slot: 250
base: 57

version 21010

(install only if you need a game using base58)
d2x v10 (beta52 or beta53)
slot: 251
base: 58

version 21010

told the OP JoostinOnline recommends
 202[60]v5.1 rodries mod
 222[38]v4
 223[38+37]v4
 224[57]v5.1 rodries mod
 249[56] d2x v8
 250[57] d2x v8

since that syscheck the OP updated mios to v10 as well
i tried to help via PM, and asked the OP to post back the problem was sorted , but probably got busy playing games

ah, that's fine if the issue if sorted.

v8 or v10 (beta52) are good.
She doesn't need to update to v10 if v8 works :)
(I'm using v8 myself)

If she wants dual port support, she will need either Hermes cIOS (the 222-224 are fine too) or install d2x v10-alt (beta53) instead of v8.
in the syscheck, I see she has a lot of different version/base. More than needed. as long as she understand what she has, why and how to use the different slots accordingly to the game's need, it's fine.

thanks for helping other users.
