Hi everybody! This site has helped me a lot on my journey with the Gateway 3ds, so thank you for that:)

I have a problem with the multi-rom, and I have not seen anything like this on the forums, so I thought I'd ask:

I have a 64gb micro sd card, since I've planned to pack a lot of games on it using the multi-rom feature. The interesting thing is that in the multi-rom menu, only 6 or 7 games show up, the rest of them appear in the form of empty boxes and they won't load obviously. Only the first 6 or 7 games work.

I experimented with it, and the conclusion I came to is that it must have something to do with the size of the games - it appears to have a size limit until it reads the games I put on the micro sd, it only reads the first 6 or 7 games.

Does anyone have some kind of a solution for this?

Thank you very much in advance!

He's not saying it's based on the size of each individual game, he's saying it's based on the size of the total of the games. This sounds to me like a fake 64G card.

Never buy a 64GB card from any place other than a store (or an online presence of a well-known store).

Thank you so much for the fast answers. The micro sd was the most suspicious to me as well, since I bought it from eBay... I knew it was risky, but it was so cheap that doesn't really matter anyway. I'm running h2testw right now.

It's a fake 64gb card, that's for sure, since it only has 30gb space, but it's not really clear to me why I can't use that 30, only like maybe 10?

Thats your problem bud its fake, you will have all sorts of issues with it! Never buy a 64GB M-SD card that sounds to good to be true on Ebay of all places cause normally it is! My advice is bin it and buy a proper one from My Memory. All your doing is throwing good money after bad! :(

@OP check mSD with H2testw for errors.
Use Easeus Partition Master or similar tool to delete and create new partition. New created partition shoud have real mSD size.
Check for errors in H2testw.

i think you will find its actually around 8GB most of the fakes use around 8GB now days to delay the discovery of it being fake so people don't start a paypal dispute....so really you have a double fake SD card

I see, thank you for all the comments!

H2testw just finished: it is an 8GB card. If I delete the old partition and create a new one, like eggsample said, can I use it safely as an 8GB card or should I toss it and buy a new one?

if you bought it on ebay open a dispute and submit a screenshot of the H2testw

sometimes they will just give a refund without you having to send it back.....then you can keep it as a 8GB card

Because really it's likely not even a 32GB card, most fakes are 4GB cards labeled as whatever,

As the others said, just raise a dispute with ebay

I bought a 32gb Toshiba one of eBay and that seems to be working fine

Thanks for the help everyone. I got my money back and got to keep the card. I partitioned it as an 8GB card, so I will use it as that for the time being.

Make sure to actually try writing and reading the full 8GB so you don't run into any nasty file corruption problems later. Or does H2testw already do that?

yeah just test it in h2testw and it should only test the the area of the partition you made........its worth noting its usually just under the size you will want to partition the card to, probably around 7.5gb
