I contacted MT-card with my problems on not being able to play Pokémon on 1.2.

Their response:

This problem is caused due to the slow MicroSD card
The latest firmware will solve this problem.

New firmware will be released soon.

So if anyone else has the same issues it should be fixed in the upcoming version .

I'm having this issue with MT-card version 1.2.
I could launch Pokemon X/Y when I first put it on the card and the saving worked.
But now I suddenly can't play it. It shows up with a "blank icon" when selected in the 3DS menu and not even removing the game from the card and putting it back (tried different releases) with/without the .sav works.
Any ideas?

Try a different version. I had a similar issue. What i did was tried to change the version. Firstly what i have done was tried it on the main pc and it failed then i had another laptop and worked just fine. I switched back the 1.1

There are two users send e-mail to say they can not update Ver1.2 version, the upgrade fails, but also send a picture to us, we have confirmed that the USB cable is disconnected during the upgrade, causing the MT card failure has let them find dealers replacement.

but i don't really understand what they're saying ,It's like we intentionally disconnected our card during the process wich isn't correct.
Plus the reseller (Modchipfactory in my case) is ignoring me. (lol.)
