I'm not convinced you read what I wrote right. I was not talking about disrespect for me, but disrespect for homebrew.
but ok
Well. I'll agree with you on that part. At the same time I'm pretty sure you're didn't read what I wrote right either.

I'm not going to lie, I absolutely cannot wait to develop homebrew for the 3DS, and with 6.3 downward hackable this is extremely exciting for me. Hopefully we can get a proper SDK up and going soon enough so that homebrew can finally commence.
lambstone you should seriously think before posting your crappy comments.
You've only been insulting the only people that know how to make an actual 3DS scene happening with your spoiled kids reactions.
Chill out and enjoy your 3DS as it is for now.
Right. And you first post is to call me out? I smell a sock puppet.
No. I have NOT be insulting the devs. I am just critical of the state of the 3DS scene. I do not bend over a barrel just because they are devs BUT neither do I insult them. I just list the pros and cons of the current scene and EVERYONE just fixates on the cons.
Your critical opinion is irrelevant to the scene.
Your critical opinion is irrelevant to the scene.
I beg to differ.
It helps to provide everyone with an idea of the limitations of the currently decided implementation of the 6.x exploit.
There are no cons. An extremely talented individual is going to provide us with a way to develop homebrew on the latest firmware, that's all there is to it. He's not going to change his mind about not allowing people to steal games for free so you might as well stop harassing him about it.No. I have NOT be insulting the devs. I am just critical of the state of the 3DS scene. "Well, you just want to pirate games for free and I'm not going to help you with it"
Inb4 some dev commenting.
You're barking up the wrong tree then, it's not smealum's fault his exploit doesn't have kernel access. Blame Nintendo for patching it after 4.5.SSSpwn does not have kernel access hence a lot of the lower level stuff like changing background, region free, remove video playback etc etc WILL NOT HAPPEN. (Oh, fuck the argument about piracy for free. Nobody gives a damn about this counter point. It's overused and rather pointless at this time. Come up with better points).

As I told you the other day, if you toned down your language people might agree with you more. I have no ideia if/what you replied, both our posts were erased.Once again. Nobody blaming anyone for anything.
It's just an objective statement about the limitations of SSSpwn.
FFS, whatever happened to objectivity?
Yes, sadly I don't see the benefit of kernel access in an exploit for anything other than piracy. Maybe SSSpwn will natively disable the region check and then enter userland? Maybe it will disable plenty of checks that users find annoying? Maybe userland will be reserved specifically for homebrew applications and anything else will run perfectly fine? You don't know that because you don't have SSSPwn or any access to it, but you choose to criticize someone's hard work, work which is dedicated to nothing other than your benefit. It's funny how lambstone is right about people not getting his point. The beginning of that one last post confirms it... sadly..
Not being able to run "muh backups!" and otherwise having full access to hardware, both ARM9 and ARM11 = "Limited Hack"
lambstone, you should seriously tone it down. I really don't understand why people keep pestering smealum for no real reason. He's a fantastic homebrew developer and he's working hard to bring 3DS Mode homebrew to all of us, with or without flash carts and at the same time make development much simpler and straight-forward and what does he get in return? Criticism.
The guy deserves a medal for sticking up with all this controversy, he should be met with nothing but praise and admiration for his exceptionally groundbreaking work on the system. He's doing all this for you guys, stop being so hard on him all the time.
