I had the problem where my M3 would not load at all, it would stay at a black screen with the M3 Logo in the bottom right hand corner. One day, I turned my DS on and left it, and a while later Touchpod had loaded. Then, maybe 1/10 times, the DS would load into Touchpod, but usually just stayed at the black screen. I installed Sakura afterwords. Finally I got something besides the black screen later and this popped up:

To my understanding this screen is supposed to show when you hold "A", but when I do that I get a black screen saying this:

SLOT-1 NDS

[EN_1_1v3] (M3 Logo)

I would like help on getting my M3 to boot more reliably.

I have tried multiple 16GB SDHC Sandisk cards,
including formatting using Panasonic HD formatter

I have the M3 DS Real with Sakura, and the SD slot is on the Side.

Or you can continue to use the M3 Real with retrogamefan's dstt firmware as long as you're using a DS Lite or Phat. If you try that and problems persist I would take a flashlight and take a look at the pins inside the ds card slot.

1) So it isn't the flashcart to DS connections that are an issue, as seen because you can always get to some sort of M3 something, even if it is a black screen (because if it were a connection issue, you wouldn't see any screen and just have the DS firmware). So anyone saying anything along those lines is a retard.
2) You have formatted multiple microSD cards and out of the ones you have tried, you have seen the screen load up, regardless if frequent or not, meaning at least one of them works. I have no idea if you have tried redownloading the M3's stuff in the event that your downloads were corrupted.
3) You have said absolutely nothing about if re-inserting the microSD or jiggling it about has done anything in the event that your microSD slot may be loose and there is a connection problem there.
4) You haven't sent me your M3 Real out of the "goodness of your heart" and bought a new flashcart which would benefit you and everyone who has an M3Real since I'm cool like that and make videos that nobody watches.

It was given, and it was used.

1.Nope
2.Yes, I have downloaded from multiple sources.
3.Yes, I have tried this.
4.-.- I'm thinking of buying a 3ds flashcart, as I happen to have one, I would have bought one if this wasn't given to me.

Thanks for your help though!

That's the firmware I'm using right now.

Also, yes, when my M3 works (which isn't very much), it works great!

Claiming that anyone who suggests someone should take a look at the contact pins because there may be a contact issue is a retard is childish and makes you a douche. We're trying to provide suggestions here, not act like all knowing jerkoffs trying to stroke their own ego.

I formatted, and have the same results as before, Sakura loads every once in a long while, and when it does, it takes forever waiting on the black screen with the M3 logo, any suggestions?

Could this be caused by some part inside being damaged, I tried opening the cart, but it appeared to have a spot glued down, and some marker marks inside. (At least I got this free)
