I don't even have a 4.5 firmware 3DS, I actually have a 2DS and buy my games, but I enjoy reading the discussion and development of the scene. I fully support people like smealum developing their own CFW/Homebrew solution and if people want to pirate games, at least they should do it without supporting some chinese pirating scum company. I hate GW and I hate what they're doing here, yeah, be prepared for yearly $80 new flashcard release.

Oh no...I just ordered a gateway . Is there still a slight chance that they will continue to give support and update? Has i can see, there is no real evidence that evo3ds is from gateway team, that's only speculation right?

Based on the website and some resellers having this

evo3ds card News

News: evo3ds card is officially released (2014.3.25)

Also, the fact that some people have said. The website is update and no longer looks like Gateways.

My thoughts were that if it EVO=GW, they were using their (GW) site as a template whilst building the new one. There were far too many similarities between EVO's initial template and headers etc. I don't think they intended the public to see the site quite so soon and were just testing that the hosting was working correctly?
It is making less and less sense that it was a coincidence the GW fractal design popped up on their site. If they were at that time 'pretending to be like GW' for whatever reason knowing it hit public domain, it wouldn't make sense that they are now slagging them off for bricking code.

So many contradictions..

[ 2014.03.27 ] EVO3DS is here !
Developed from the ground up, EVO3DS delivers the features that you have been waiting for.
With some of the available cards, there are concerns about reliability and even some worries about rogue code.
Our team set out to produce a robust product that works with all your games and at a reasonable price - so EVO was born.
Even though EVO3DS already has lots of great features, we will continue to add functionality when we think we have something to enhance your experience.

Look like that soon will be avaible

Well, smealum really doesn't want to enable piracy, so there still isn't going to be a choice.
