Marvelous AQL are teasing a new game for the Nintendo 3DS, which they say is from the developers of Rune Factory. Marvelous, as you know, publish the Rune Factory games.

A teaser website for the game states: “What have the developers of Rune Factory been up to lately? Making a new Rune Factory game? Or… something else, perhaps? The answer is coming soon…”

Yep, the RF dev team is still alive and kicking despite Neverland's demise.

So, what do you guys think it could be? Could it really be a new entry, or could it be a whole different game? If it's a new RF game, it will most likely be a spin-off/unnumbered game like Frontier and Tides of Destiny. Even if it's not a new RF game, I'm really excited to see what they've came up with!

reputation has nothing to do with sales
I was referring to the second part of your post where you mentioned Nintendo was third place this gen. Third place means by definition that the sales are worse than second and first place. You claimed this was due to the region-lock policy of Nintendo, but this is rediculous.

I haven't even gotten into RF4 yet, I kind of hope they try making something new!
Either way, I'll be waiting for the announcement.

this region lock BULLSHIT as well as continuing to stick to their archaic ways is damaging nintys reputation and if they don't change soon they may be here next gen but i guarantee they won't be round for the one after.

I guarantee you that 99% of people do not care one way or the other about region locking, let alone even know what it is.

I'd like to see Nintendo drop the policy, but let's not pretend that this is the major issue.

I'll have to agree with Gahars. Everyone seems to severely overestimate the amount of people that care about region lock. Of course it would be awesome to see the region lock gone but for most of the world it really doesn't matter.

it's not just the region lock ninty are stubborn and continue to stay in the past. they won't remove the region lock, they continue to use outdated hardware, they won't meet the market, they continue to underestimate todays generation and making the same mario game over and over just doesn't cut it these days. this is not 1980 these archaic ways are out of date and they don't realize this they think their untouchable well their not and this is the problem they can't see! if they don't change than only the hardcore nintendo fans will be buying their stuff and i guarantee it won't be many of them to make them a profit.

go ahead disagree with me nintendo boyz make unpuny lame posts that have fuck all meaning Nintendo can never do no wrong their gods blah blah blah.

we'll see whos right in the future

If you could translate this rambling mess of blind rage and spelling errors into coherent English, that would be great.
