Hey GBATempers,

I don't usually post much around here but I have been around for a long time. With Costellos's recommendation I thought I'd try posting about the problem I'm dealing with currently to see if anyone has any ideas on "What would you do?" in my situation. I'll try to keep it short but accurate:

  • Jan 5th: Contacted member through PM about a trade of GBA flash carts.
  • Jan 5th: Member agrees with trade. (I ship first)
  • Jan 8th: Get member's address to ship cartridge to and cartridge is shipped same day. Sent tracking info and a copy of the invoice through PM.
  • Jan 10th: Item delivered.
  • Jan 10th, 15th and 13th: Try to contact member about receiving the item and to see when they will ship their cartridge but they did not reply.
  • Jan 19th: Member PMd me back that they were sick for a week and did not have a good internet connection when they were able to get online to reply back to me. Member apologizes and says they will fix it and send out the item on Monday the 20th. I
  • Jan 20th: Last message by member thanking me for understanding.

I've sent a couple messages since the 20th but have not received anymore replies. I'm pretty much at a loss at this point. The member continues to log in to GBATemp and even reply to other threads but will not reply back to me at all. As I told Costello I hate to waste other people's time for my own problems but I'm just trying to figure out a resolution to all of this.

Let me know if any of you have dealt with anything like this and what you did or would have done in this type of situation, thanks for the help!

Report to staff.

Hey emigre, I did contact Costello directly. He is very busy with other things unfortunately. It's to be expected though. As bowser stated he is the one that recommended me to make this thread.

If there are any other staff members you would suggest that might be able to help directly I wouldn't mind contacting them.

I'd give him\her benefit of the doubt. I can't really see what you do besides wait. Maybe after a set amount of time, if you don't receive your Item. I'd talk to the mods about black listing the person from the trading forums and or Banning. But I wouldn't be in a hurry to do anything. Going public is the best idea btw.

edit: I'd say this is the user in question

I guess I've never been the public confrontational type. I always try to resolve matters privately if possible. I work in retail and see people get overly upset and make scenes which is the type of people I avoid trying to be. At this point however I might as well make all efforts to try and get this resolved one way or another. As Thomas pointed out from my post in the trading forum JayRo is the member in question. Hopefully he reads this thread or replies back to our conversation and decides to do the right thing. P1ngpong has already joined the conversation that I have with JayRo to try and figure out what is going on which I am thankful for. If anyone knows or sees JayRo please direct him to this page or back to our conversation.

He just posted in a different thread a few mins ago, its obvious he is ignoring the pm's and thinking he will just get away with it.

Relax everyone, I finally was able to ship the EZ-Flash III to Adam. This has been resolved. I'm embarrassed that this thread has humiliated me publicly, so thanks for that...

Anyway, I shipped out the package and here's the proof that I sent to Adam:

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.
