Yeah, they already had the NAND-based saves video with Pokemon running. The only thing we haven't seen demonstrated which they said would be in 2.0 is the ability to back up your own game cartridges. I would wager that it's even better than DS multirom since the menu is active within the actual OS - it's not some separate application bootloading the games.This looks fantastic, almost as good as DS multirom.
