Came across this on Wiibrew today, looks like someone made an RPG Maker game player. I haven't tested it yet, but you can check it out here, I'm gonna give it a try later tonight though. I was really hoping something like this would come along, so I'm pretty excited about this.

the last time i stumbled across this, it already was left in work in progress limbo...
don't expect that most games work.

which is really sad, i'd like to play some vampires dawn, but i really have better things to do on my laptop.

I know for a fact that there is a DS version of this badboy out in the wild.
Does anyone have it and would like to share it ?

It doesn't exist. There was a very early mape viewer for DS but it was depreciated (and unplayable). No effort on DS since then.

EasyRPG just didn't remove DS logo on their website.

Since the DS has dingu running on the Supercard DS Two and iPlayer, does the Dinguu version of Easy RPG work on it ?

Could anyone try ?

I think you are confused there. DS2 is NOT Dingoo. It cannot run programs compiled for Dingoo. They only have similar processor. Similar processor does not mean it'll run Dingoo program.

If you had clicked the link on my signature (its two parts) you should have seen that I cannot get it to work.

I had it working once.

However the Supercard + the Micro SD was stolen from me.

I haven't been able to get it to work with my current SD Cards/Supercard DS Two.

Thats why I ask.

I will probably not be able to use it myself, however I'd love to know if that would work.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
