Homebrew Merry Christmas - Have some RAM Dumping!

hello. i have a friend of mine (his nickname on irc and twitter is naehrwert) who is interested in aquiring a RAM dump. he's also interested in buying a 3ds, which he'll do in the next days i suppose. if anyone can supply a dump of the RAM to that person he'd appreciate it. if the dump contains any personal information, you can just delete it and send it without the info (he doesn't care about that). to everyone here, enjoy the holidays and Merry Christmas

Try again. I got mine (4.5) working in 4th try, bricked DS mode and formatted system 3 times before it finally created DUMP.BIN.

RAM dumps DO contain copyrighted material unlike the 3DS toolkit. I highly advise against sharing RAM dumps.

i thought the purpose of this thread was to aquire a way to run unsigned code on a 3ds without requiring a flashcart? how else are people willing to help if they can't see the code?
either way, i'm not interested in the dump. my friend is however.

Bricked DS mode:

- 4.4.0-10E
- had "GW_INSTALLER.NDS" (from 2.0b1 release) installed
- used your 0.2 release, verify was good

After 3DS reformat it worked on first try, thanks.

my mouth(and my typing hands) are a tumb with such things. others might do this more to malice however. i haven't shared the dump with anyone else so the secrets in it are safe. the string (the only thing appearing in this thread) is static, that is, it's present (most likely) in all the other dumps. if there's a necessity to remove it, any mod (or me) can remove it and it'll stop being a problem.

After few attempts (corrupted DS-profile every time) with latest version (0.002) on 4.5.0-10E using R4i Gold, I finally got a dump after completely formatting the SD card (I had emuNAND on the default SD card, nothing else).

I seriously hope this would speed up the birth of the homebrew scene, I myself can't wait to get on working with something already.

Just a heads up for those having trouble, make sure you get your new v0.0.0.2 rop-loader.nds from the 'Binary' pack, not the singular download or the Github Repo. Those contain the old version. Correct crc32 is DE9FB5C5.

They dump it themselves.
