For me eShop doesn't work on 7.1 Emunand or Classic Mode 7.1. Gives me errror code 001-3010.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's not going to be possible. EmuNAND 6.0+ doesn't use <6.X savegame keys, rather it uses the wrong keys. And no work around is possible while sysNAND is at firmware 4.1-4.5

Done sys transfer from 3ds (ambassador) to emunand on 3DSXL. Everything works, except GBA Games, and Pokemon X (retail) because of the above. (even content on SD matches as I can run retail eshop titles, whose were bought on ambassador). Looks like both keys are crammed on the savefile, and emunand does not create a valid key Y that is compatible with 6.x/7.x stock

If you're just updating the Gateway version just drag and drop the new launcher into the SD card and replace the old one. You do not need the Blue card anymore unless you are playing DS games in which you have to rerun the exploit after.

Does anyone know if retail Pokemon will work in classic mode WITHOUT corrupting my existing save from legit 6.x?

Everything works, except GBA Games, and Pokemon X (retail) because of the above.

With Pokémon it is the key problem, sure, but with the ambassador games it is a other problem. Don't know this exactly, but the TWL_FIRM and AGB_FIRM needs to be patched too, which is not done by Gateway. So they try to load data from real NAND, which can cause some problems.

if you read something do it fully... its 7.1 for people who already have 4-4.5
what it does it copies all the data from 3ds internal onto sd card and request it from there so you STILL NEED 4-4.5

Q, b4 I update.... I got a 3ds my son updated for me in October (he's so nice) and was wondering does it matter now if I go 7.1 or not? Cuz it seems gateway is a no go for 6rs .....unless there's some way to go back I'm unaware of

Please let me know if I should just go for it or not

PS: where can I get a 4.5, and can I transfer my stuff to it or does the version gotta match?

somebody should ask this to GW team. I'm gonna soft-reset to get a shiny froakie so I don't want to lose the save in case I find it before the 2.0 final.

So what is the trick to get a shiny frokie??? What does soft reset do, or do you just keep resetting and restarting the game until you get a shiny one offered? I am about 15 hours in and considered restarting because I took the fire/fox pokemon to start and then you get offered one of the 3 original pokemon and I wanted Charmander, then as a gift they give you torchic so now all my starters are fire types.....so thinking of restarting so I can take Frokie to start.....

Does this latest FW update for the GW work for ROM versions of Pokemon X/Y? For me, I still get 'The saved game data is corrupted.' error message, even after updating to GWD3D 7.01.

Or does this only help people who own an actual retail copy of the game, that want to play it, and still be able to use GW3DS?
