if app was acquired on 6.3emunand prolly was with key y on 4.x

an update says there is already leftover or, the very app residing on SD means the app keeps its old key y.

Basically all this guess means 7.0+ has newer keys implemented. I'm not sure, maybe someone able to read zelda A L B W (which save was created on real 6.3 fw, no emunand), is able to load his/her save on emunand classic 7.x mode..

this is just a guess don't take it srsly

Love this 2.02b.
I have 0/5 crashes now when switching to GW3DS mode. compared to 2.01b.
Thanks GW! and MERRY X-MAS!!

No way to know. They said they would try but anything could come up in testing. I would rather they delay it however long they need to get it working properly.
Yes its true i am going to wait until they realese something properly and complete. Thanks

Anyone tried retail Pokemon X/Y on emuNAND online? I bought Pokemon X a couple of days ago and have only played on emuNAND, so Im afraid this might delete my save :P

Can someone who's previously tired to sys transfer tell me if works? I'm currently able to get to the "send or receive" section and don't know if I should continue.

So im currently starting the update. I moved the 2.0b2 launch.dat to the root of my sd replacing my other. But when i try to start it from my settings/nds profile, it crashes and says unexpected error. yes i am holding the l button. i really have no idea what im doing

delete the launcher from your SD and re-install it. I always delete it before copying over the new one.

Reapply GW installer (DS cart).

He's right, but if you don't want to risk your system, don't do it unless you have a hardware mod to restore your data.

Notes: If you change the language of your system, you'll need to reactivate GW DS profile hack through their NDS ROM (Blue GW).

Also note that this guide was made assuming that the system had already a registered hostpot before doing the EmuNAND partition

1: Ensure the 3DS SD card has more than 1GB of free space.
2. Back up NAND and wait (it lasts about 30 mins).
3. Copy all files from SD card to PC.
4. Select "Prepare EmuNAND" option (it lasts about 30 mins).
5. Delete every file visible on the SD card and copy the backed up files to the SD card (except NAND.bin).
6. Without booting GW's hack, go to System Settings and delete all Internet settings (optional: also change the 3DS language to a foreign language); then exit to the main menu
7. Boot GW mode, verify that Internet settings are intact on emuNAND (as well as the original language).
8. Reboot the console.
(Optional and preventive). Double check that Internet settings are actually deleted from the actual NAND .
9. Boot GW mode, go to System Settings, check for the letters GW3D on there and go straight to System Update.
10. Enjoy the latest 3DS firmware.
there is no prepare emunand option?

The names are not accurate. Should I fix them? I thought they were obvious though...
its fine, i figured it out. Im the one who shouldnt be picky with questions in the first place (btw its format emunand.) I really appreciate the help, ill let you know how it goes when im done (currently formatting :)

Format EmuNAND, if you have updated emuNAND before, its exactly the same procedure, and the whole delete internet settiings and change language are optional for the rookies, I have only ever used the Wifi Slider and never deleted/changed any settings and havent had any issues, its really a 4 step process, and you will be back exactly where you where with a 6.3 EmuNAND

I made the steps like that due of a couple of users saying that "they were sure" that they saw the "GW3D" letters before updating and they ended up with an up to date sysNAND.
