That' there reply:

Simple translate:(excuse my poor English)

Hi

Your sample will be sent tomorrow.
In order to keep from being copied, or just delay the process of being copied. The files will be released the same day or the day after card shipping. What the card(GW I guess) will release is completed same to us, that's why our team being so prudented.
Someone has received the first batch sample, and we sent them the manual and necessary files too, just didn't post the files in public, try to be understanding.

As we saw from the video, MT-card is also a GW based(or DS exploit) 3DS flash card, using the same way gw used before.
According to their reply, it's obviously they don't have 100% confidence about their product won't be copycated. Does this means the launch.dat is easy to decrypted now? What I think, homebrew is accessible in the near future.

Jan 4, 2014=============================================================

I will receive my card today or tomorrow.
Here's Chinese player's review:
http://bbs.duowan.com/thread-36707224-1-1.html
http://bbs.duowan.com/thread-36723911-1-1.html
simple translate:

Simple packing with two card, one for DS exploit and the other for 3ds rom storage.

Usage method almost like GW and GW clones.

Difference:
1. support FAT32 Micro SD card for ROM storage, for multi-rom usage.
You can directly drag *.3ds files to your Micro SD card root directory.
Change rom by pressing the buttom on the top of card or just use 3ds D-pad(works when your 3ds in HOME menu).

2. Automatically save. Don't need to close game after saving. After game saving, a *.sav file with same name to the *.3DS will generated in your Mirco SD card.

3. Save editor, emuNAND and card dump are not usable yet.

4. Do not support GW save files. support GW save files

P.S.
ROM compatibility is same as GW 1.0. Latest roms like Pokemon X/Y, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter are not supported yet.

NOT SAYING THIS IS REAL OR NOT

Website: http://www.mt-card.com/

Summary of video:
  • Supports multirom 256 games: Uses fat32 drag & drop
  • Supports NAND saving not necessarily pokemon (It shows the Japanese version of animal crossing new leaf being launched)
  • Card features: Micro Usb port, a button, Micro sd card slot and LED lights
  • Save directly to micro SD: Does not require pressing home + close to save
  • The card works on 4.5
  • The card uses the same exploit as gateway and other clones
  • Has a custom user interface similar to gateway
  • Includes a ds flashcard similar to gateway and other clones
  • Region free
  • .savs are stored on the micro sd instead of the 3ds' sd card
How the multirom works:
  • Games can be selected from a list from ds profile exploit menu
  • Roms can be changed via a physical button on the flashcard itself
Team says they are working on:
  • Save editing
  • NAND saving
  • Dumping of roms from retail cartridges
What the video doesn't show:
  • Emunand (EDIT: Does show on menu backup nand and nand format) High chance it will have emunand
  • Games built on 5.X

Oh cool, finally some legit competition! That selection button on the top is pretty interesting too, never saw something like that on a flashcard before.

Finally someone mentioned this. It has been being discussed for couple days and many people believe it is another version developed by the GW team.
They say there is a CPU in the cart to make the Rom change button possible.
So the battery life might be shorter than the GW?

interesting. it has similarities to gateway.. could this be a chinese branded reboot version by GW ?

the timing of this card and the announcement of GW releasing FW with nand saving / multirom (soon) is quite a coincidence don't u think?

This is just the beginning! :yay:

No stealing of other's work too!

But still requires Fw < 4.5...

Looks like a promising alternative though!
The menu in that vid looks like a reskinned Gateway menu. Same order of options, same icon size etc.
Not like I care lol. Copying is the name of the game in the warez scene.

This button to switch games is very cool. The way GW is working right now, you have to reboot your 3DS to access the GUI again, and this would be a pain in the ass with multirom on GW.

The GW Team needs to introduce a button combo to either access the GUI again or to switch games.

Wow. It looks awesome. I really hope that the Gateway3DS will include all of these features soon.

So this is basically Gateway 2.0 sneak peak 3.2. I don't doubt that's how Gateway will work. I hate that they are keeping the pressing L even in the final version.

Being serious, I hope Gateway doesn't take that much time releasing this feature.

The button to change ROMs is really clever. This is a win for whoever is making that flashcart. Gateway's cart truly is disadvantaged by this hardware feature.

well to be honest, i would rather the game is not loaded as soon as you select it in the multirom loader, i want the game to be recoginized by the 3ds.
this is because i want the game to be logged and my play time and stats collected.

if the game is not launched from the home menu, which is what happens with ds flashcarts, then the stats would not get editied.
we do have kernel access, so technically the data could be written to anyway, this would be a nicer method.
it annoys me when i load an iso on the wii, and (usually depending on the loader) get the loader data in the stats, not the actual game.
but, if you used something like uneek, and tricked the wii into thinking the iso was actually a disk, then it is all fine :) but that is just my gripe, i doubt everyone worries about that

Haha! Sorry! Don't own any of those flashcards yet... Which I think is good, I will wait for a bit more and decide which is better for me ;)

imo the button is unnecessary. you could overlay a rom menu inside the home menu just like smealum did to overlay some text
