Very different, for example, you can update the hardware in your pc. This is not possible with the steambox i think.Still don't understand what the difference is between using steambox connected to the tv compared to a pc running ubuntu/debian with steam installed and connect the pc to the tv.

What an ugly controller TBH. How are you suppose to play with that. And the console design reminds me of a smaller xBONE.
I keep hearing this, unfortunately.
People ask for innovation--> Someone tries to be original and change the gaming ways--> People automatically dislike it because its out of their comfort zone--> Rewind.
As for me, I am very excited about the controller, and what it has to offer.
Hum... I still prefer the computer I assembled during this past summer. x'D
At least I know it'll last for many a few years to come without needing to upgrade again, that and I enjoy playing PC games on an actual PC with a keyboard and mouse.
Still, I gotta admit, Steam sure knows how to present themselves, that's damn nice packaging.
