Hello everybody. I have softmodded Nintendo Wii for a while and wanted to try on the Wii U, but before doing that I would like help with some questions.

Is it possible to do the vWii hack on all versions of the Wii U?

Does all exploits work? http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/WiiMode I saw the link on Truth Guide.

Can I use the same SDcard to install the Homebrew and Loader or is it as in Nintendo Wii it need to be in all the time?

I've seen a guide where he said you will need to take out and put the SDcard in when booted, otherwise the installation from before get wiped out.

Thanks for helping a newcomer on the Forum!

All versions do work, yes

To my knowledge only the Smash Stack exploit work on vwii.

You can use the same SD card.

Thanks, glad to see other swedes also helping out :) So I can use the same SDcard on different Wii U and then plug in the original that come with the Wii?

Bannerbomb and Letterbomb do not work but otherwise all hacks that work on a 4.3 Wii should work on vWii as well. That means everything except Twilight Hack, to my knowledge.
You can use the same SD card and no it doesn't need to be in all the time even on regular Wiis.

I suggest doing a NAND backup before you do the Wii System Transfer if you are going to do that, then restoring the backup afterwards (BootMii as boot2 strongly recommended, you should not attempt this otherwise) so you will keep all the content on your Wii. The system transfer failed to transfer most of my saves so I am glad I had a backup of them on my Wii.
Make sure you don't run the Shop Channel on the Wii after the transfer or it will delete/disable your purchased Shop Channel content from the Wii.

Other than that, use the guide linked to above.
Note that the Wii U will constantly prompt you to format your USB HDD if you have it plugged in while in Wii U mode, so be careful about that if other people use your Wii U, especially kids. Maybe this is what the guide was talking about, not the SD card.
