my my if thats true, its really expensive. i think ppl have opted for ac4 over gta v this time and probably watch dogs will continue ubisoft's heat
It's high, but not really expensive. Rome 2 was similar, CoD Ghosts is too.

Either way, we've seen GTA V PC mentions pop up a few times in the past months. Indications, maybe, or just a hoax/mistake, maybe. We'll see how it turns out, I don't know if GTA V PC is coming, I hope so, but I really don't dare to make a bet on it. So unpredictable

Too expensive for a PC game and so i'll likely borrow it from the internet to play.
I refuse to support trashy publishers overcharging PC games.
If the price is accurate anyway, and considering the game i'm sure it is.

So...people with windows 8 are out of luck? :P

On a more serious note: is amazon reliable as a source on this? Or is it just a random placeholder and are rockstar employees just as surprised by this news as we are?

It's high yeah, I don't like it either. Luckily I can get Steam games a bit cheaper, that's always nice at least, but 55 EUR is a lot of money for a game, true. I can understand why some people pirate it then, I just hope the developers of Rome 2 and GTA V PC get enough money to get some profit!

Eh, you might as well wait for a Steam Sale or two. This is the sort of game that's guaranteed to be buggy and poorly optimized at launch anyway.

Absolutely. Every GTA game that's been ported the PC has had it's share of problems. I, personally, only had major problems with GTA IV, but I've read that most people weren't that lucky ... I've read that Rockstar has a 3rd party company port the games instead of doing it in house, which might account for all the blunders.
