Just tried it, I did a wonder trade, and it seemed to capture the pokemon I received just fine. Displayed its IVs too, and just saved it to pkx file.

So yeah, it seems to work for me. Another win by KazoWAR :)

EDIT:
Copypasting myself from IRC:
<+dmm_intoxicated> also just noticed
<+dmm_intoxicated> when doing wonder trade with this checker
<+dmm_intoxicated> it will grab the receiving pokemon as early as the "we've found a trade partner for you" screen
<+dmm_intoxicated> before you yourself find out what is it that you get
<+dmm_intoxicated> maybe even a little earlier

It gets the pokemon earlier, you could even abort the wonder trade when you dont like it :P

Ah, so it does the entire trade before you are even shown the animation eh? Shit. I mean, I knew it had to gather at least enough data, but still...

When I start the program, I get this error message:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box

EDIT:
I got my system connected to my laptop through a built-in app called "Hotspot" (Windows 8 laptop) and loaded some pages on the web browser to make sure it works, but then I got an error message when the Wonder Trade was about to start.

EDIT: Never mind, I reinstalled it and now it's working.

I managed to connect my 3DS to the internet through my laptop and do one wonder trade, but now it's just not connecting :/

Never mind

I fail to see how this would prevent scamming when someone could use it to steal any shown Pokémon as a .pkx file without your consent or even knowledge.

Edit:
Yeah, I already knew that because one time I tried to abort a wonder trade by shutting off the wireless switch after the partner was found, but the trade had already gone through when I reloaded the game.
Keep an eye on the app, as soon as you see a Pokémon appear, hit the switch. You'll keep your Pokémon.
