Q: Why was Fez's creator named Phil Fish?
A: Because he took all the bait.
Unfortunately for fans of his work, this meant that he (apparently) decided to cancel Fez 2 in a fit of rage and leave the games industry altogether.
Naturally, things have been sorta quiet on the Fez front since then, so even a teasing Vine video is like a big story. Which brings us to...
Don't listen to The Escapist; they have Moviebob. Come on, let the Fez-tivities begin.
Now, the team handling the PS Network port of Fez is Blit Software. You might know them from their port of Sonic CD for Steam, PSN, and XBLA. They're currently working on a PSN port of Spelunky, so Fez will probably have to wait a little while longer.
And hey, Vita owners, you know what they say: "Mo' games, mo' justification for your purchase." At least, I think they say that. Don't quote me on that.

The EscapistIn August, Polytron announced that Fez would be heading to the PlayStation Network at some unspecified future date but has remained fairly quiet ever since-until yesterday, that is.
Unfortunately, we still don't have a release date, but Polytron has uploaded a short video that seems to indicate that Fez is currently operational on the PlayStation Vita. Though, the video is incredibly short and nothing actually happens, so it's probably too early to celebrate.
