Hacking thinking about buying a PS vita

I'm thinking about buying ps vita , But I would only buying one if they can be hacked as I have a PlayStation portable with custom firmware and would only be interested in a PSP if could use my other files that I had on my PSP

I appreciate any input you might have for me in the subject of this matter

IIRC PS Vita can only be hacked in PSP mode.

Only buy Vita if you are interested in VIta games. While PSP games look wonderful on VIta screen, it is more of a hassle to get it working. Not to mention you lose out PSN and PS+.

With PSP, you can use MSPD or SD card as storage, but with VIta, you have to use VIta memory card. That drives up the price.

I have ALOT of PSP game ISO's..and I have PS+ with some games I have got free.

I know about the Vita memory card...that really sucks.

If I bought one now. and Today

Could I hack it to play my PSP ISO's.

And can it be downgraded to 2.0? for the VHBL?

No. You have to wait until PS4 comes out, then hackers will release new exploit for PSP mode.

No. You have to wait until PS4 comes out, then hackers will release new exploit for PSP mode.

heh..cause I have a PSP but I thought a Vita would make the games look better on the screen...plus if it was hacked later on you could get the vita games eventually

I got my vita long before I got my 3ds... and I play my Vita FAR more than my 3DS... I say go for it! Especially with the PS4 coming out!
