So it board game now eh?
What next? Megaman Tetris or Megaman Puzzle?
Why don't they just make Megaman Toiletpaper so i can wipe my ass with it.
There has already been a Megaman Boardgame released back on the Famicom, somewhat similar to Itadaki Street or Monopoly, so this isn't as much a far cry from absurd.

I'm with anhminh (weird username, dude); they should totally make Mega Man toilet paper. We could send a bunch of rolls to Capcom with a note to wipe their asses with it. :D Maybe then they'd feel the way we do. Abused, ignored, irritated, etc.

Me, one minute ago:
"Hmm, I'm gonna scan the recent posts section..."
*sees "New Mega Man Game announced"*
"Oh, that's nice... WAIT, WHAT?!"
*clicky*
...
"You dick."

That was about to make my night after a long day of work. Now I wanna punch something.

Not like it matters.
If a project is crap, it fails. Simple as that.
Kickstarter has its own shovelware.

I read a report recently that stated almost a quarter of 'succesful' kickstarters fail after they reach their goal due to no demand, miscalculations and blatant misuse of money.

Well I guess I only follow the good kickstarter projects :P
Kickstarter is about investing in projects that you believe in.
You are pledging money towards an idea. Whether that idea ever actually takes flight is a whole other matter. Its up to the pledger to decide if the person is trustworthy, if their vision, dedication and ability are enough to actually make a project successful.
I know I have read of some failed projects where people took the money and ran, but honestly if you just read these things it was usually blatantly obvious it was going to fail and the person was an idiot.

Kickstarter itself is a brilliant idea and it has brought us a TON of cool stuff we'd never have seen without it. Especially games. People just need to be more intelligent about how they spend their money.

'course some people look at it and see an opportunity for a scam, but there's really nothing on the planet free from such people.

Did Capcom really approve this? I doubt Capcom would approve anything that would rely on a kickstarter for success. Besides why a board game why not a new game.

Because the fans want to troll Capcom knowing full well deep down inside something like this would never come to fruition. They should have at least petitioned to make a real Breath of Fire VI game.
