5870m gpu 1Gb ddr5
1080p 17" monitor

Good deal for $425?

User reviews seem to report tons of driver issues and such. For it's price, that would be a good buy, however you should ask the seller whether it's experienced any issues.

Well, he states that it was purchased about a year ago, and he's only been able to use it maybe 10-12 times due to lack of free time. He said there haven't been any issues. I just haven't been in the market for a performance laptop for some time so I figured it would be best to ask as others might know current market pricing. I've seen the same model going for 600-1000 so it seemed feasible.

Looks good to me. It may be prone to high temperatures and short battery life (purely looking at the specs) so consider getting a cooling pad for it.
