I think a Price drop is superb seeing as I paid about $300 at launch......but no New titles only PORTS of old stuff isn't really appealing

Might actually want to get this now some time in the near future. Though I hope by that time, Memories of Celceta is out, as P4G is really the only game I want on it that is out right now.

Give me a tales game, a dedicated final fantasy game that isn't a spin off... rpg's . But not just one or two. I need to know if I was to get a Vita, it wouldn't collect dust after a week.

I was interested in getting one for PS4 streaming... Until I realized that the games I'd want to stream won't be out until well into the PS4's launch year.

I'll wait for the second PS Vita price drop or WiiU-like inventory clearance sales.

Except the newly-announced titles like "Starbound", "Velocity 2X", "BigFest", "Murasaki Baby", "Helldivers"...

You should try "Velocity". I was skeptical about the title... and then I played "Velocity Ultra" since I got it over PSPlus. Loved every moment of it, what a great game. :yaypsp:

Velocity is amazing!

I prolly will get a Vita if I can make another sweet deal like I did with me PSP.
Fully hackable PSP 2000 on FW 3.something (early one) for 3 shitty 360 games.

I can buy a 32gb Micro SD card on Amazon right now for $20

With this price cut the 32gb Vita memory card is $80

Sony needs to either price cut the memory cards a lot more or ditch it all together in favor of SD cards.

I need a 64gb memory card Sony, where the hell are those? Put those on the market for 100 bucks then we'll talk.

I'm sure Sony is very aware that they could conform to a memory standard and save their consumers some money. People such as yourself don't seem to understand that the purpose of proprietary memory cards is to turn the system that, on its own, sells at a loss, into something that generates profit. Software helps with this, but if you require the memory card, it's guaranteed money, whereas software is hit or miss depending on the consumer. It isn't as if proprietary memory is new, especially where Sony is concerned. Of course, other companies are guilty of replicating this in different ways. The Gamecube memory cards, the older 360 models with their special HDD enclosure and the hoops you have to jump through to make your own drive work right, etc.

It's something that works, and it won't be going away. Sony's Vita memory cards will slowly go down in price, but they will never match the ultra low prices of the likes of SD cards and MicroSD cards. I'd imagine that without the proprietary memory, the Vita would have been closer to $400 or $450 right out of the gate. Even if you ultimately spend the same amount, it's comforting knowing that you didn't spend it all on the system. People will always see the system price first. Anything to slash that is for the better.
