Someone sent me this so i can get the game for free.

They said something about registering Nintendo 3DS XL before sometime in october.

I registered it on September 2012. pretty old lol!

You can't get it.
U need to have a 3DS XL registered from August 6th or register another one till October 7th.

As long as you have the download code you can use it on any system, however you need to register a 3DS XL yourself in order to get it.
