My new laptop, was $340, got it for a birthday present (though I paid half of it). Thing is pretty nice, I don't generally like using APUs but I'm surprised at how well this runs things. My main purpose for this laptop was for work stuff, but I threw a couple games on here (Borderlands 2 and Skyrim) and they run great. Also gave Dolphin a try, I was running Super Smash Bros Melee at 50-60fps the entire game, which surprised me even more. Only complaint is the 5400rpm HDD, though I'll most likely be replacing it with the SSD from my old laptop sometime soon.

Just a quick update to my ChromeBook, I now have 4GB of RAM and CrunchBang Linux installed on a 32GB flashdrive.
As well I now own a Raspberry Pi Model B with 3 SD cards (a 4GB with RISCOS, 8GB with Arch Linux ARM, and 8GB with Gentoo)

My PC is 6 years old, over the years i upgraded the gpu 2 times(stock hd 2400, then hd 4650, now hd 7700) and added an SDD. also did the pin mod to the cpu to get an extra 600 Mhz out of it. it still runs great.

Yeah, I know it's not the best around, but, considering I don't play who knows what kind of extreme games, it works. As long as F1 2013 and the emus work, no worries here. Ah, btw, the RAM can work at 1333 MhZ, but for some reason, it always was that slow on my rig.
