Hacking [POLL] What System Menu version is your 3DS(es) on?

6.0.0-11U here, I have DSTwo so don't worry and also have a DSi so I don't care that much if it get blocked plus I'm trying to be legit, I don't think I'll be hacking my consoles if the gain isn't that much, and I end up full of games and playing nothing, the only thing I play on my DSi is Pokemon White 2 if I turn on the thing at all, even when I have my microsd full of other games, same with PSPgo, Project Diva only.

I always update my 3DS because I have a DSL so I can always update my flash cart later & because I like the E shop.

Yup,same here. I have a DSi XL that will be used IF it ever gets permanently blocked on the 3DS. Still can run my Acekard2 and my iPlayer.

My 3DS XL is always up-to-date, whereas my original aqua blue 3DS is on some ancient firmware. I haven't updated it in ages. Could be back on 4.x.x or something.

I'm happy that I met someone that appriciates Nintendo's official emulators I just wish there was a way to cheat in official VC games & in WiiU games as well.

japanese 3DS on v4, american 3DS on v5.

I don't update unless something breaks and there is a fix. I had to update from v4 on my american 3DS when I bought a new copy of ocarina of time 3DS because I lost my launch copy

No, it wasn't a digital copy. Newer manufactured games force you to update firmware in order to play them, it's stupid.

They know people don't update when they play homebrew or pirate, so it's their way to circumvent it. "Oh, so you don't want to update your 3DS? Okay, that cartridge you just blew $40 on is useless until you do."

It's basically Ninty's way of saying "If you buy our products, you have to abide by our rules eventually." which we are forced to do with 3DS games since Gateway isn't released yet.

Funny, this seems to encourage piracy the way I see it... because I could just stick with my Supercard and not put up with that crap. But no, I want to play Zelda. -.-
