Hey everybody. I've been trying to play BF3. Everytime I join a server I got the error "Game disconnected: could not join server." After repairing the install it has worked twice on seperate occasions, breaking again after each game finishes and I try to join another. I deleted my browser temp files today and that seemed to fix it again for one game. I really can't play this till I fix the problem.

please help, members of the temp

I have tried doing the following to fix it:

disabling aero
repairing install
deleting browser temp files
running as admin
reinstalling the plugin
disabling av and firewall
disabling origin in game interface
updating drivers (they were up to date so it didn't do anything)
updating game

While this may be more of a question for the EA BF3 support forums, here is my suggestion:

Since it connects fine once but not after, and since you have already tried disabling your firewall, it may be your DNS caching that is the problem (not sure how they secure BF3 stuff but... maybe?).

Anyway, after a match, try running this from an administrator command prompt:

Code:
ipconfig /flushdns

This will force your computer to forget all server names it knows and have to manually go out and locate them. Let us know if this helps any.

I tried that. Didn't work. I am going to try and contact EA again.

I get this sometimes too! I usually just click the reconnect button, or I pick another server. No other solution really :/
And of course, make sure your Battlelog addon for your browser is uptodate!
