That's disappointing, I was rather hoping everything would be customisable rather than a selection. I was gonna make a solid gold toilet and a set of gem Arwings.

Well,its understandable,since remaking every furniture in the game would be an hassle and would take 2 times the space in the card,making slower loading time.I'm happy with what they give.Anyway,i'm used to play Animal Crossing without customizing furniture,so its a pretty add-on,but not necessary to play

It's a step in the right direction. Maybe the next title will have fully customisable furniture, tech would have improved by then so it won't be such a drag.

It's no problem for me, there are already LOTS of customizable furniture available. XD
Started being a VIP of HHA for today. Already put all the antique furnitures in the house. The exterior according to a FAQ has a few antique pieces, like my orange mailbox for example. Hell, that's the only thing I've changed! XD
If I get 1,1 million in one shot, I get to pimp out your house entirely with gold. So in 5 days, I should have the complete house in gold, if done right. XD

Do new shops not open on Sundays, or does Kicks take more than 1 day to build? They started yesterday. What gives? I want new boots, damn it.
