Well if all the stuff they are claiming in the email comes true then this will be a decent product......save functionality, firmware upgradeability, multi rom support.....Hell I would take the first two....if they really are going to do multirom either they have a 3DS exploit they or the cart will run DS code and they will use a DS menu to manipulate the Rom and save files.....I just wish this thing would start shipping as the suspense is killing us!

Just got home and didnt see this email floating around..where is this new news about it having multi rom support, etc? If they will have all that it will be worth the wait, but if by the end of the month nothing happens I will just ahead and update..heck eventually we will all have to update anyway for the newer games

There is no news. They said they're looking into upgrading it, but it may take a week, a month, a year, or never happen at all. Just wait until they release multi-rom/save support, or until some other company does the same thing.

It is now practically confirmed that the Gateway currently, does not work with the 6.x.x firmware.

The team says they will update it later on, but it probably won't be ready for the card launch.

Seeing as the team has not announced the official card launch on their website yet, I would say that is a general "lie" as most selling websites do.

God I love classic Star Trek.....that clip fits the current situation to a T.....James T. to be exact...lol. I hope these gateway clowns actually deliver us a product and that they are using these delays to actually give us some form of save functionality as that is my biggest must have. I can live with the one ROM per card as hell I already have so many microSD cards laying around from old smartphones and cameras that I am set for life with those....I just want it to be a portable solution so that I don't have to connect it to a PC to do backup and restores for the save file and I will be a happy camper. I really hope there is a true 3DS crack coming soon as I would love to see some hombrew on the 3DS....A video player that supports divx and mp4 would be so nice and a range of emulators like mame and scumm would just be the bomb.....I wonder where the 3DS ranks in power compared to the PSP as I know it can't touch the Vita but am guessing it has to have similiar power to a PSP which could do quite a bit of useful homebrew.
