More [unconfirmed] XBONE info.

This fucking Xbox. Just when you think it's bad, it keeps getting worse.

1. Confirmed Microsoft is actively attempting to get developers to not mention PS4 versions. If they don't say "OUR GAME IS EXCLUSIVE FOR XBONE" expect a PS4 version.

2. More DRM messaging at Gamescom. There is no rental strategy. Try to sweep it under the rug and hope people don't remember.

3. Cloud power was designed as DRM. Period. DRM was Microsoft's idea. EA and Ubisoft are supporters, Activision slightly less so.

4. DRM plans are actually worse than what they've stated.

5. Mirror's Edge 2 at MS conference.

6. Prince of Persia (reboot?) at MS conference.

7. Secret Phil Spencer game = World of Tanks

8. Live paywall still there, even for F2P (look at World of Tanks)

9. Dead Rising 3, and exclusive DLC for another Capcom game at MS conference.

10. No online paywall for PS4. Unconfirmed.

11. No DRM info for PS4.

SOURCE. Would there honestly be any other at this point?

Don't be rude. The poster on neogaf has a flawless record with leaks, from what I've heard. The OP posted this to give us insight - therefore, it is news.

If you have nothing kind to say, don't say it at all.
If you have nothing helpful to add to the conversation, don't say anything at all.

to his defense I would have made the exact same comment.
I'm not a neogaf enthusiast or anything so I have no idea who this guy is... and did you see the post? it's written in a... "special" way
so I hardly think this is news; call this rumor at best.
Now it doesn't mean we aren't allowed to discuss it, or even to acknowledge that this might turn out to be true :)

Ironic considering your post is doing nothing but being irrelevant and rude to trumper-205....

Anyway, it's still unconfirmed. At the very least this thread should have one of those [RUMOR] things in the title. The current title makes it seem 100% confirmed, which it's not.

I was simply responding to the individual who made a rude comment, bringing nothing to the conversation. I'd say, that given the situation, it's highly appropriate to point such errors out to him.

If you'd like, I can gladly edit the post and write, "ZoMGzEERZ! THEy g0t burnttttt!" or some other illiterate response to fully contribute to the thread.

What I did was more than appropriate.

Anywho, it is still unconfirmed, you're correct. However, this man, "Cboat" has a very large track record of getting leaked information correct. I wouldn't doubt the man, but by all means, you can go right ahead.

I understand what you're saying. He'd written in that 'special' way as an attempt for privacy, etc, as is revealed later in-thread. He's a well-known member there, apparently, and has an excellent track record of getting leaked information correct.

And I'd agree that the work "Rumor" better-fits the 'news'.

I thought it was just a bit rude of him to comment that post, with such an arrogant tone and harsh words, contributing absolutely nothing to the conversation, ya know?

But I 100% agree with the rumor thing, oh yes! :)
 
In this episode of Valwin News we learn that punching the keyboard equals encryption.

...we're hours away from the presentation itself, I see all this as proclaiming self-fulfilling prophecies and stirring in the already stirred pot.

Well SO sorry if I offended you and find my reply useless :glare:. I didn't know about that particular poster in Neogaf. Plus that poster typed in this "alien" language which only few people can read and has nothing else to back up his or her statement.

News is something factual and confirmed. That poster has nothing to back that up. Rumor at best, not a news in "User Submitted News".

1) You didn't know about the poster, gotcha. No problem.
2) You can read it if you concentrate - but it's 'coded'.
3) It doesn't matter, you don't have to be rude about it.


I find this generation terrible. Kids love Bieber, many on the internet try to start arguments for some unknownreason. It's really quite sad.
