Yearly PSN+ PS3 Games Announced

On June 12TH both Europe and NA PSN+ subscribers will get:

Uncharted 3
Little Big Planet Karting
X-Com Enemy Unknown

July's games and the Vita replacements have yet to be announced.

Personally I only signed up to the service last week (just in time) and already have a ton of games for both my PS3 and Vita. I hope they keep the service for PS4.

Just a heads up U3 is like 50GB!

LBP Karting is the only game I don't have yet, so it's a sort of win. Good games for anyone who doesn't have them yet, especially if the person gets PS+ before the 12th for the current game selection

PS+ has two different types of games: yearly and monthly changing games. These change at different times and intervals, so these are completely new games for June (and the 2013-2014 year). The following is straight from the PS blog:

UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3), XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3), and LittleBigPlanet: Karting (PS3) are all dropping next week, joining Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3) which joined PS Plus last week. it works like this
for ANY free game you get with PSN+, NEED PSN+ to work
for ANY game you get at a discount with PSN+ is yours and you do NOT need PSN+

as long as you have the PSN+ service active on you account, the free games work

No, you can join PS+ to add them to your IGC, but you can only access your IGC if you have an active subscription.
It's still an amazing deal though, since you get ~$5000 worth of games during a 1-year ($50) subscription.

You can play the games as long as you are subscribed to the service, once your sub runs out you can't play them. Any games you get for free with PSN+ remain on your account even if your sub runs out and once you renew your subscription you regain access to them.

If you subscribe now you will have access to an instant game collection of 10 PS3 games and five PS Vita games, and the collection gets updated monthly.

Moral of the story is don't be a cheap shit trying to get three games for free and then cancelling, pay that 40 bucks for a years sub and enjoy the value.

Already own Uncharted 3 and LBP Karting but XCOM should be "fun". Like "get your ass beat" fun.

I already downloaded/played the last set of yearly PS+ releases so it's no biggy. IDK if the Vita ones will come yet though.

Those yearly ones will be put on June 12th and will stay up for the whole year (until e3 2014)
The monthly games get changed week to week every Tuesday
