Okay so my wii has been hacked my usb loaders all of them have been freezing with all my wii games ( I tried all of them) and they all froze! So now I want to start from 0. Back to fresh factory settings remove all trace of hacking, all the extra Cios' Ios' hbc etc. So I can rehack it from step one via mod mii, and hopefully never have this issue. I know it seems pointless and stupid, but I really wanna revirginize my wii. I want it like the first day I got it. I know about ohneschawnzenegger.zip. Nandclean 2.0 and etc I downloaded them but haven't tried anything yet. Anyone care to show me about this cause I really wanna do this.

I know someone is going to ask for my syscheck here is my syscheck
Please help me! Im desperate for my wii to be revirginized, as the ripping doesn't work, and I don't wanna get my own wii and gc games downloaded again as that would take too long, and too much.
Thanks!

Well like I said I need help to do this. Do you know how to revirginize my wii, cause I really wanan do this... And I already tried modmii, and All I really want is to just freshen everything up
U know what I mean?
No, I really don't. If Modmii's Virginization feature couldn't do everything for you, then no one can help you.

Just a warning: Backup your NAND before you start doing anything.

Using ModMii, you can download copies of all of the original IOS's for the system as installable .wad files, and then use Multi-Mod Manager or something similar to install them. I believe ModMii will actually itself make an installer that will batch install all of the IOS's for you.

You probably need to use the command line version of the tool.

I have not found a way to fully uninstall and remove any custom installed IOS's (they always seem to leave some sort of residue even after being removed), but you can at least remove them to the point of being stubs. NEVER REMOVE ANY IOS THAT YOU ARE NOT ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN YOU CUSTOM INSTALLED YOURSELF.

I have backed up my NAND , is there a way to make a NAND that is factory fresh with non custom IOS? I heard of ohneschwanzenegger and nandbinchecker, and that with those is possible to remove any trace of modding in my wii... If so can you guide me with those.. I wanna get it to the point where If I send it to N they won't find, and charge me you know? Just that clean ... And with mod mii It would install only factory fresh wads? cause I don't wanna install anything new, I just want to unistall anything extra there is a syscheck I posted .. you can tell me by looking at it much help is neeeded...

Also I'm doing this cause my nintendo wii can''t rip games of the loader I tried everything , and everygame it plays them fine with no worry just it can't rip without freezing. It's not the disc lens cause I play all my games, but this is the main reason I wanna remove EVERY TRACE That my wii was ever modded... I really wish someone to guide me if this is possible in modmii tell me how in detail so the chance of bricking is less. Thanks!

Abstinence Wizard only mods your wii with no traces left behind. It will not make it virgin again.

You can follow modmiis wizard guide and tell it your wii is a virgin and it will give you everything you need as if your wii was untouched. Or you can tell it that you just want to update your current mods and then select what features you want to update.

As far as i know and from going through modmii i do not see any option to make it a virgin again.

I formatted my wii so what can I do? also I already made a backup. I saw what u put in my last post please guide me. All I want is remove any custom things to solve the issue I posted on previous post .... So please help as much as possible

In response to your many questions:

I have backed up my NAND

Good, good. If you have BootMii installed as the 2nd boot slot and not as an IOS, then it is now impossible to brick your Wii.

is there a way to make a NAND that is factory fresh with non custom IOS?

Not unless you made a NAND backup IMMEDIATELY after running the HBC exploit (which, may I point out, is expressly recommended in any guide out there).

I heard of ohneschwanzenegger and nandbinchecker, and that with those is possible to remove any trace of modding in my wii... If so can you guide me with those..

I have not used those tools, but would be hesitant to trust them. Every Wii NAND is different, so tools that claim to work in all cases concern me. Maybe others have experienced otherwise, but I doubt it.

I wanna get it to the point where If I send it to N they won't find, and charge me you know? Just that clean ...

It sounds like you haven't even bothered to look at ModMii, yet. It's fairly self explanatory, and there is some fairly decent documentation regarding how to use it. Remember, God helps those who help themselves. So do members of this forum.

you can tell me by looking at it much help is neeeded...

It looks like you have been using your Wii ever since the first mods started coming out, so a lot of your IOS's are messed with. Use ModMii (and read the documentation) to restore the IOS's to factory.

Your IOS's are all messed up, as is indicated by your SysCheck.

I really wish someone to guide me if this is possible in modmii tell me how in detail so the chance of bricking is less. Thanks!

No, no one will do this. It would take way too much time, and the process is already well documented by the ModMii team. It is up to YOU to read how the tools work, and then experiment with them to learn how to use them correctly. Otherwise, you end up in a position where, say, your Wii is totally screwed and won't rip disks anymore.

Good luck in your efforts. Feel free to post any specific questions about using the tool here, and to post the exact steps you end up taking for posterity who may have the same questions as you.

Hey how come you say that:0 what's wrong with them ?

I'm fairly certain the Trucha Bug isn't supposed to be in that many IOS's. Also, pretty much the only cIOS you need nowadays is d2x, which is recommended as being installed in IOS slots 248 and 249. You have way more than that.

And here is an update from my sys check, as for reading I will read it from top to bottom as you say that this can help set my IOS straight as well as other installed files correct?.

According to the ModMii documentation, the output from SysCheck can be used by ModMii to update all of your cIOS's. However, this is not necessarily the functionality you want.

And I will do this with modmii do I do the hackmii installer, or download specific IOS'? Here is my syscheck. Sorry if I seem noobish, but it becomes kind a hard to track this.

Understandably. To return your Wii to as close to stock as possible, you do not want to use HackMii. What you want is to manually download all of the original factory IOS's from Nintendo using ModMii (looks like option 1 in the command line version of the tool) and reinstall them overtop of the modified ones that are already there. Questions regarding which menu items are most appropriate in your situation are probably best posted in the official ModMii support topic here at GBATemp.

Hope that helps.

Okay so too many trucha bugs, and over the top cios and ios' huh? I see... and yeah I really don't tried that over 3 times to update by syscheck and no help. I will try thoose updates in the option 1 of the command version , and see how it goes once I do that the mods will be "gone" from the ios , and cios' right? QUestion does this mean I don't mess with my nand at all?

Startup Modmii
Type "I Agree"
Type "1" press enter
Download all the Non- Fakesigned IOSs / MIOS
*It's all the files listed in the middle column.*
Just Press the # of the file you want to download then hit enter and it will mark it for download.
Example typing "9" and pressing enter will mark IOs9v1034 for download.
Once you have all those marked then type "4" this will take you to the cios page. Now type "REC" and it will mark all the recommended files for you.

Now once everything is marked type "d" and press enter. Now on the next screen "Y" and hit enter to start downloading all the files.

Once you have everything then install all the files using a wad manager program.
