The more you argue, the less homebrew we get.

I do not need to see this like 100 times.
Not an argument really. There won't be a release and even if some people succeed in the Linux part and get 3 cores running well there is no guarantee that would prompt the release of more information. Kissing ass serves no purpose so at least venting a little might alleviate some anxiety. To clarify; no release by f0f and all the tweets, pictures, posts do not indicate a release would come. Marcan said in a thread on here that there would be a "standard release" as plan A failed due to sysprot or something like this. This says nothing though and means nothing;-) You guys sure f0f is not really the US Congress? Or group of lawyers?.

I forgot to cite this in reply to the guy with the nice "failoverflow" picture. Blatantly stating a standard release would happen. Probably the most relevant refute to that silly question they had. Unless it is edited then it will still be on this site.

Sorry, I messed up :/

I was merely just translating pwsincd message into something understandable.
Not sure how an irc would consume more bandwith? Some of you still use a classic 33K dial up modem?

No, it's "cable" internet, but our ISP sucks balls. Not as bad as it was six months ago, but I'm not a big fan of IRC to be honest. Too many bad experiences.

If you were out of the loop or not around for that, perhaps you should get more informed.
I think I'm good, I was sitting at the table when it happened.

However rather than say this they say a whole bunch of other stuff, very little/none of which makes any sense (...)
See, here's the thing. Even if you don't fully comprehend the reasons, you can still accept them. Instead you go on and voice your butthurt by pulling two alternatives from thin air, both insulting to the integrity, honesty, and competence of everyone involved.

FYI, it's not "entitlement" when someone announces what they are doing, then announces that they did it, then announces that they aren't going to give it to anyone/do anything with it.
Of course not. Sense of entitlement would be if someone else demanded the release of those findings.

According to you, noone ever is allowed to talk publicly about their findings if they do not share them with you, is that the gist of it?

Looks like I misunderstood it as well. I just monitorred efnet f0f for the last half hour to notice that it's indeed very quiet.
wiiudev isn't any better. Someone who knows channels with activity going on?

Another reason that they may have stopped working on it is they got heat from someone to do so
Seriously, will you stop? You really don't have to invent reasons and motivations, marcan has very clearly stated them in the blog post, you can take them at face value.

I will however also say that the main reason I bought a Wii U was because f0f was working on it.
Wanna know what? Mine too. :)

Nothing to say about the tweets, Marcan posting about a standard release, or anything else out since about December of 2012? Integrity is such an interesting word for those who break security by reverse engineering. Sort of like, "We have honor among thieves"? Marcan was explicit, "Plan A failed to Plan B will be a standard release." Guess the standard release was, "Do it all yourselves as we did it." Or like the Stewart character from Mad TV (search for it), "Look what I can do...." Not releasing, not worth the effort, others don't have the abilities, ahhhhh, okay so why be concerned with what Rednek says if all you want is for Rednek and others to "Accept it."

You, Sir, are a bumbling idiot.

Marcan was explicit, "Plan A failed to Plan B will be a standard release."
So you keep saying, yet I cannot find any reference to that except in your posts. CMIIW.

I'm not demanding that anyone release anything, nor am I butthurt at all--quit putting words into my mouth. I'm thinking logically, something which you cannot seem to grasp. I'm not being emotional in the least and no matter how much you try to prod me off track it is not going to happen.

Yes exactly, they should not have said one word about what they were doing, what good would it do and what would it accomplish making a public announcement if they never intended to share their findings? It makes no sense to do so. They knew what making a public announcement would mean and what kind of frenzy it would cause. After making those statements, they made their own bed and need to quit bitching about people bitching at them about it.

If they are insulted by my comments then they need to grow some thicker skin--as do you. If anyone is butthurt here, it would be you. Makes me think I hit the nail right on the head with my thoughts. Thank you for confirming that. I might even go one step further and say the whole giant fiasco was a HUGE troll on everyone and that f0f actually doesn't have a damn thing which would also explain why they aren't answering anyone's questions--because they can't. Though I'm still more inclined to believe that they hit a wall they could not overcome.

EDIT: It would appear as though you sir, are the bumbling one.....the rest of us here seem to know where our head is at and what was said. Perhaps there was a little too much booze involved in that round table.....

It was either in the blog or in some of the Twitter messages.
Plan B was just old fashion boring. I believe that was told as well.
